The seed sucker™ foundation donates in many ways to areas affected by natural disaster.
As our foundation grows, we plan to venture out in many different avenues such as environmental education, improving the environment and planting trees.
Our foundation differentiates ourselves from other organizations by planting mature, healthy trees that will instantly make a difference and improvement towards the environment rather than just seeding new growth of trees.
Seeding is beneficial and a great option in many instances, but seeds take years to mature into trees, therefore making less immediate impact on the devastation in the areas we assist. Seedlings are also more vulnerable to damage or death by wildlife or weather before the benefit of the tree’s precious life is known.
Trees purchased and donated by our foundation will be at least 3 years old. In addition, they will measure no less than 2” (caliper) at the trunk and have a minimum height requirement of 10 feet tall.

Once our foundation has built up a substantial amount of donations, and is able to begin contributing to the environment, seed sucker™ will contact the appropriate leaders designated by the NVOAD committee to arrange disbursement of trees for individuals seeking assistance during the rebuilding process of their community.
The seed sucker™ Foundation will not be limited to just the donations of tree transplant but as we grow, we will also commit to helping the enviroment in areas of recycling, education and awareness!
The seed sucker™ Foundation believes it is very important for each of us to get involved and help out communities in any way possible during times of tragedy.
The act of generosity and kindness people demonstrate around the country does a lot to help communities heal from the tragic consequences of disasters. However, it is very important to stay focused and coordinate all available help through experienced disaster relief organizations and/or the State and local emergency management offices first, so that the people in need of help can receive it properly and in a timely and effective manner.
